The Magic Valley Jubilee ended it’s first year of operation by performing three Christmas concerts in the month of December. The first concert was performed at the The River Fellowship in Twin Falls and was video taped on broadcast quality cameras. The tape was then taken to KTVB (Fox 38) which was edited and will be used for up coming TV ads in this new year.
The Magic Valley Jubilee’s first concert of 2009 was held at the First Church of the Nazarene in Twin Falls on January 10th. The theme of the concert was, ‘Year in Review’ and featured a collection of the ‘most requested’ songs from 2008.
As we look forward to the New Year, we see that 2009 brings with it high expectations of what God is going to do ‘in’ and ‘through’ each one of us. As we surrender to Him our gifts and talents, He is faithful to take our ‘little’ and turn it into ‘great and mighty’ things to be used for His glory. All ready our performance schedule is busier than it’s ever been (see Schedule page), and the performers are looking forward to this new year with high hopes and eager anticipation of new music, new staging, and a new theme for 2009, ‘Tribute To The Oldies’.
In 2009 make a New Years Resolution to attend as many concerts as you can for, “There’s A Message In Our Music’! And that message is one of hope, love, acceptance, forgiveness, healing, restoration and salvation that can help you in your times of difficulty and struggle and point you in the direction to your needed answer – Jesus Christ. Please continue to pray for the Magic Valley Jubilee as we continue to, “Play Music That Inspires Your Life!”

Very Sincerely,
Your hosts of the Magic Valley Jubilee,
David and Lawnie Kay Bolster

YEARS END 2009

It’s hard to believe that another year is passing us by and here we are already looking at another set of Christmas performances and the end of another year. 2009 saw performances in a couple of new churches and the return to many of our faithful supporting churches. The Jubilee lost a couple of its members, but God is ever faithful to bring new members our way. The Jubilee team this year has just been the best! Our musicianship is getting better, our performances stronger, the entertainment quality of our shows is the best its ever been, and the personality of the team is God centered. One of the highlights of this year was the decision to move out of the church and into the community, as this was a difficult choice, we tried a ‘trial run’ at the O’leary Middle School Auditorium. Going to O’leary turned out to be a major blessing! We had the largest crowd to date, people who had been saying for over a year that they were going to come and see us – finally did! Plus, we had alot of new faces. We were so excited about the outcome of this concert that we immideately booked the Auditorium for later in the year.
Our Salvation Station is still headed up by Greg Avery, who does a wonderful job, and continues to be a blessing to those looking for prayer, information on drug additction, and salvation.
The Jubilee got some risers this year, thanks to the wonderful support of the Lighthouse Church, to elevate the drums, guitarists and piano. These risers really help in staging and the over-all look of the performance.
As we look to the future we see God is already there – do I hear an Amen – as we pray and seek God for this new year, we see that He is encouraging the Jubilee to continue ministering to the community in even greater measure. Therefore, in this new year the Magic Valley Jubilee is going to be even more determined to reach the community by holding more performances in auditoriums, at civic activities, and event centers.
We hope that you will continue to support the Jubilee by attending our performances, telling your family and friends about us and keeping us in your prayers.

Sincerely Yours In Christ,
David and Lawnie Kay Bolster

YEARS END 2010

Wow, what a year!
As you read in my 2009 message, by the middle of the year (2009) we made the decision to give civic auditoriums a trial run by holding a concert at the O’leary auditorium, which was a wonderful success. So, we made the decision to perform in the different auditoriums and space out our concerts to every other month. Not only did we perform at O’leary, but the College of Southern Idaho Fine Arts Theater, and the auditorium in the new Canyon Ridge High School. We closed out the year with a fantastic Christmas program that included a chamber orchestra, dancers, several very special numbers and a time to sit around the Christmas tree with a cup of hot cocoa and sing carols. Because the Christmas show turned out to be so incredible, we have already booked the CSI theater for this Christmas. Do make plans to join on the 17th of Dec.
